We cut and supply keys for all types of locks and locking devices including safes, domestic, commercial and specialist locks including shutters and lockers.
In the home
Our locks can be operated using a number of key operations. Should you wish all locks can be opened or locked using individual keys we can accommodate this. For your convenience we can also make all keys in the home work on one key. Addition keys can be cut and supplied for all locks fitted.
Commercial
For larger offices or warehouses we design, produce and install master key suites. Master key suites control who can open different doors in the same building.
For example a “grand master” will open all doors. This is followed by at lease one “sub-master” that will open another selection of doors Then “slave keys” that open individual doors. Master key suites can be very complexed so should be designed by a professional.
Safe keys
Smiths can cut a wide variety of safe keys from a wide range including SMP, Chubb, Burton and Milner.
Smiths also offer other safe services including removal, moving, opening, code changes and sales.
Pre 2020 Smiths master key suites
Prior to its take over Smiths installed 100’s of master key suites. Despite many now being out of date and in need of replacing we can still supply keys and locks to the majority of them.
Vintage
During restorations Smiths can also produce replacement keys for antique of vintage locks by hand from our workshops or in some cases our vans.
